In Lisbon, Portugal, we will be eating at a famous food court at Mercado da Ribeira – Lisbon's biggest fresh food market – a place in which has become a firm favorite among Lisboans. This will be a great experience for us to taste many well-known foods is Lisbon.
We will be going to the Lisbon National Archaeology Museum! Here, there are a range of artefacts from the prehistoric to the Medieval. It will allow us to experience a lot of history.
1) Belem Tower- medieval tower on the bank of the River Tagus in Lisbon.
2) Conimbriga- is probably Portugal’s best-preserved Ancient Roman archaeological site. 3) The Jeronimos Monastery- is an iconic sixteenth century monastery in Lisbon. 4) The Lisbon National Archaeology Museum contains a range of artefacts, from the prehistoric to the Medieval. 5) Mirobriga- was once a thriving Roman town, the ruins of which can now be seen in Portugal. -New Year's Day - Carnival/Shrove Tuesday
