Cairo, Egypt
- Cairo, Arabic Al-Qāhirah (“The Victorious”), city, capital of Egypt, and one of the largest cities in Africa. Cairo has stood for more than 1,000 years on the same site on the Nile. - Along the well-irrigated shoreline, lush vegetation shares the landscape with tall skyscrapers. In the older inland quarters to the east, however, beneath the foothills of the Eastern Desert and the rocky promontories of the Muqaṭṭam Hills and the Al-Jabal al-Aḥmar (Arabic: Red Mountain), browns and ochres are the dominant hues of land and buildings. - This is where we will be traveling! Sadly we cannot travel all throughout Egypt, but we have so many more places to look forward to. |
Cairo Museum of Egyptian Antiquities
- The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, known commonly as the Egyptian Museum or Museum of Cairo, in Cairo, Egypt, is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. - Because no visit to Egypt is complete without a trip through its galleries, this is the museum we will be touring. |
Night & Day Restaurant
-The Night and Day restaurant is a twenty-four hour restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner around the clock. -We thought this would be the perfect place to explore the Egyptian food in the area, and can literally order whatever we would like due to the vast selection in the menu. - Has been reviewed by many fellow travelers and is said to have fantastic service and amazing food, and whether it be night or day, we will have a fantastic meal whilst in a very welcoming and wonderful environment.
