Morocco is geographically located in Northern Africa along the Atlantic Ocean and theMediterranean Sea. It is bordered by Algeria and Western Sahara. It also still shares borders with two enclaves that are considered a part of Spain - Ceuta and Melilla. The topography of Morocco varies as its northern coast and interior regions are mountainous, while its coast features fertile plains where much of the country's agriculture takes place. There are also valleys interspersed between Morocco's mountainous areas.
Rabat, Morocco, the national capital, is situated on the Atlantic coast, 57 miles (92 km) northeast of Casablanca. The old walled town, containing the Arab quarter, lies near the mouth of the Bou Regreg River, opposite the city of Salé.
Being the country's capital, it should have much in store for us to see.
